We have customer after received piwis tester encounter booting problem. After put SSD in laptop can not boot .
reason for this:
The system does not recognize the drive as bootable. Unable to locate the PIWIS 3 executable file when accessing the drive via USB. BIOS/UEFI settings preventing proper booting.

Correct Installation Steps(MUST Follow)
Step 1: Physical HDD Installation Power off the computer and unplug it.
Step 2 : Remove the original HDD and install the Stata Drive directly to the motherboard’s SATA port:
Must use SATA data + power cables (no USB adapters)
Do NOT use USB enclosures or SATA-to-USB converters
Step 3. Secure all connections and reassemble the PC.
Fixing Booting Issues with SDD: Check BIOS/UEFI Settings
Your system may not detect the SDD due to incorrect BIOS settings. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Disable Secure Boot
Restart your computer and enter BIOS (usually by pressing F1,F2,F10, F12, or Delete during startup).
Navigate to Security or Boot settings. Locate Secure Boot and set it to Disabled.
Step 2: Change Hard Drive Mode to AHCI
In BIOS, go to Configuration/Config→Storage.
Find Controller Mode (or SATA Mode) and change it to AHCI.
Save changes (F10) and restart.
Step 3: Enable CSM(Compatibility Support Module)
Go to Startup or Boot settings in BIOS.
Set UEFI/Legacy Boot to Both (or Legacy Only if needed).
Enable CSM Support (set to Yes).
Save and exit (F10).
